French Snicole Fritz

The time has come when I can simply write what I want to write just by speaking. I love it. However instead of rambling which is about all I can do right now, I'll just refrain. But there is more to come.  count on it

Windows 10 isn't it?

So today I started working with windows and version ten is going to be a huge success if the novelty of speech recognition can get past the speedbump in development.  Granted I live over a trafficway and it makes it hard to hear sometimes.  Sometimes the microphone has no idea what the hell I am talking about.  Now that I really try to wrap my brain around its simple text to speech function and in the reverse for users.  Although I’m struggling somewhat with the pace of speaking so that I am heard and fighting over noise from the street I am quite pleased with the progress of speech recognition and understanding in windows 10.  As a car drives by and another and another I continue to speak and if I talk in short bursts one phrase at the other it seems to work pretty good.

I've been waiting for this sort of technology for a very long time.

Windows 10? Because 789...

Yes my first impression is that of a kids joke but in all reality as I use Windows 10 Technical Preview... it's like seven ate what was eight and probably would have been nine... though I don't think anyone wants s to be making that joke I'm sure...

2015, The Year Of The Mega Phablet

2015 is gearing up to be the year of the Phablet. With the different smartphones coming out in the 5" to 6"-ish range, the revolution is officially on. What I hope to see is true computing power in these beasts. I know I'm not the only one either. Just think about your new iPhone 6, 5.5 inch beauty... Now imagine with iOS 8 that it's a hybrid iPhone/iPad version of iOS... Presenting the iPhad... You laugh but in a way I'm not joking...

maybe this is what the hype is all about...

Applescript AI Assistant script idea from 2006

I wrote this post back in 2006 and now we have Siri.

Not taking credit for it, just showing how you can influence your surroundings with a good idea...

Writing a bit more...

Well. It's been a while huh? I'll punctuate how I want, that's my choice. I sometimes imply the punctuation or gloss over it. But I usually write what I write and mean what I say when I write it. That is one way I've found to prevent massive rewriting in the revision process. It seems to me if I focus on figuring out what I'm going to write before I sit down, I become much more productive because I'm not just writing mindless crap. I am talking about my last post on here.

So, on to other things, well, related things at least. I have three or four stories in mind so, for the foreseeable future I should be busy developing the stories and writing them. I have set up some playlists to accompany the story-line building process. The one that I'm really focused on is "The Retreat". I have another one called "Run" and the third one is developing roughly but I'm trying not to force it. I want "Doobage and Ish" to tell me how to write it. "Echoes of Seville" has been written but needs a new ending or a follow up. I'd be interested in working with someone on that story. It's a little "Rock of Ages" but not too much. It's funny but more of a drama.

So, feeling good and ready to write. I guess that's the theme of this post.

The Retreat, a treatment of sorts...

When I started this I didn't know how it was going to end but now I do and I'm pretty sure I can keep going to begin with I'm not much of an author yes I've written one book but it's been a little while since I've written anything and By the Way punctuation is implied see that's how I roll sure the book company would like me to add punctuation but since I don't really care it's all good later on your find out the things that I'm saying now are actually relevant to the story that you are going to read it's funny actually but enough about time building more about that building a lot of things but interpretation is everything see if there's no punctuation and who's to say what begins or ends. So that was the first run on sentence this is the second. Okay so that wasn't a run on sentence but the first certainly was and this one is also going to be quite a run on sentence before the completely expressed thoughts is conveyed from me to you and keeps going on until it reaches a point at which the run on sentence becomes almost a life source of it's own and independently gained its own will by itself continuing to run on and on and on more about that later or perhaps not either way it really isn't relevant so why do I write it. This story is a story about love and loss it's a story of time travel and is a story about being able to choose your own direction.  It is a heroes journey and don't worry there will be punctuation.

So forget that bit up there...  I was rambling but imagine if you will a stream of realities like on ramps and off ramps of sorts in the super-strings of time-space.  Taking one path leads only the mind to decide how the world is and believing the past is not the past but the future has led to a rewriting of the past to put the creator in league with his one true companion in this spiritual journey.  The follow up to CodeBase by Chris Johnson, me.
