So what?

Just wondering...
What I like about this is that it looks as if I can build a standalone game from the preconfigured packages, models and other objects, such as reusable code snippets...
I've only just begun poking at the program but I like what it seems to offer...
Hopefully I'll be able to find it useful.

Windows 10 isn't it?
So today I started working with windows and version ten is going to be a huge success if the novelty of speech recognition can get past the speedbump in development. Granted I live over a trafficway and it makes it hard to hear sometimes. Sometimes the microphone has no idea what the hell I am talking about. Now that I really try to wrap my brain around its simple text to speech function and in the reverse for users. Although I’m struggling somewhat with the pace of speaking so that I am heard and fighting over noise from the street I am quite pleased with the progress of speech recognition and understanding in windows 10. As a car drives by and another and another I continue to speak and if I talk in short bursts one phrase at the other it seems to work pretty good.
I've been waiting for this sort of technology for a very long time.

Writing a bit more...
So, on to other things, well, related things at least. I have three or four stories in mind so, for the foreseeable future I should be busy developing the stories and writing them. I have set up some playlists to accompany the story-line building process. The one that I'm really focused on is "The Retreat". I have another one called "Run" and the third one is developing roughly but I'm trying not to force it. I want "Doobage and Ish" to tell me how to write it. "Echoes of Seville" has been written but needs a new ending or a follow up. I'd be interested in working with someone on that story. It's a little "Rock of Ages" but not too much. It's funny but more of a drama.
So, feeling good and ready to write. I guess that's the theme of this post.

The Retreat, a treatment of sorts...
So forget that bit up there... I was rambling but imagine if you will a stream of realities like on ramps and off ramps of sorts in the super-strings of time-space. Taking one path leads only the mind to decide how the world is and believing the past is not the past but the future has led to a rewriting of the past to put the creator in league with his one true companion in this spiritual journey. The follow up to CodeBase by Chris Johnson, me.

moist...
I must remain patient and prepare for the proper time in which to sow my seed. Readying the soil for that time is crucial but plowing the ground now could prove to be a futile effort if not even a detrimental error which could result in the complete sabotage of any further potential growth being possible due to the exposed earth's inability to remain sufficiently moist-- at least enough to allow seed to sprout.
I will continue to wait.
Perhaps I will read a bit. Maybe after I awaken from a much needed slumber.
Yes, sleep it shall be.
May I make it through the night and arise with a clear memory of the lucid dreams I wish to have.

cayenne fudge
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1. Make base fudge recipe and add cayenne pepper after marshmallow fluff.
This base recipe is the key to making any flavored fudge.
"Base" Fudge
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 cup real butter
2/3 c evaporated milk*
7 oz. marshmallow fluff
12 oz. chocolate chips**
1 tsp vanilla
1. Before you start, open all packages and line a 9x13 pan with wax paper.
2. Stir together sugar, milk, and butter in a medium sauce pan.
3. Cook over medium high heat (I use 7). When mixture begins to boil, boil for 5 minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally to prevent scorching and sticking.
4. After 5 minutes boiling time, turn heat off and add fluff. Stir, stir, and stir.
5. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.
6. Pour into pan and let cool.
As a tip: I cut fudge as soon as it is completely set. I then will put it in the fridge to chill it. After it is cold, I lift it out of the pan by the wax paper and run the knife over the slices again. They should now peel right off the paper without sticking of falling apart.
Another tip: If your fudge gets hard from being exposed to the air, put it in a metal tin with a lid. It will soften back up and still taste great!
* A 12oz. can of evaporated milk will make 2 batches of fudge.
** Might be substituted in making different flavored fudge.
